Teaching Portfolio

I have taught and led modules across several programmes, including Film and Media (BA), Media, Communications and Culture (BA), English: Creative and Professional Writing (BA), Esports and Events Management (BA), Social Media (BA), English (MA), Sociology (BSc). Predominantly, I now teach day to day on film, culture, and media modules.

I am module leader for a range of modules across stages, including Introduction to Digital Cultures, Gaming Culture, Cult Media, Creative Project, Esports: Major Project, and Media Hidden Histories. I have also acted as module leader for Contemporary Cinema, Reading and Writing Literature, Science Fiction and Fantasy Television. Many of these modules have been designed from a blank page, and I regularly work towards ensuring innovative assessments are present.

I also regularly supervise stage three students with their final research projects.

I have acted as external examiner for Swansea University for MA projects. I am external examiner for Hull University for their Film & Media courses.
