MultiPlay Network

I am the co-founder and a co-chair of MultiPlay, an academic network which takes a multidisciplinary approach to video game studies. MultiPlay has around 300 members. The network supports collaboration, and works to bring new opportunities to academics interested in game studies from hosting conferences to publishing. MultiPlay has secured funding from multiple universities to support academics with conferences and attending events. Additionally, MultiPlay has a YouTube channel for all our conference papers as well as the podcast, Game Academy.

MultiPlay Editorial Board

I co-chair the MultiPlay Editorial Board which I established in September 2022. The editorial board includes game studies scholars from a multitude of disciplines. The editorial board has launched several books, and will launch a journal by the end of 2027.
